Still as good

It has been a while since we last had our dinner at Wai Kei Restaurant which is located next to the Scott Garden along Old Klang Road so we went there again recently and to our delight the food still tastes as good as before.
Sweet Potatoes Leaves with Wolfberries (Goji) - MYR10

Yong To Fu (Vegetable stuffed with fish paste) - MYR1.20 each

A claypot of wine chicken (medium portion) - MYR30

Special deep fried tofu - MYR13

Steamed tilapia fish with minced ginger paste - MYR35 

My rice with coriander

  5. Actually I'm interested with the special tofu, I think I ate it for the first time when I was like 12 or 13 in a shabby tai chao place and it was great. I thought special tofu was only special to that place. Then slowly I realized every tai chao/restaurants have their own "special tofu". But ah... most of them don't do it right. I only like it from a handful of places.

  8. looks tasty, I prefer the steamed fish to be plain with light soy sauce, this would be too much ginger for me..
    The yong tau foo is my fav dish...yumzz!

    All food looks yummy and I love them. Especially that fried tofu and steamed fish.

  15. I personally think that Malaysian food are so healthy... you got many veggies, noodles and healthy meat.. once I get there.. i will definitely give all these dishes a shot...
