Do you eat to live or do you live to eat?
That's very affordable. Where is this?
At Overseas United Garden coffee shop.
LOL. I almost forgot the real name of OUG.
Everyone calls it oug so can't blame you for forgetting.
That is cheap! I wouldn't mind going for that...especially with our ever weakening ringgit and the dismal shape our economy is in at the moment. :(
Very true.
Mun, it is very affordable. And the dishes look very delicious and green veg very fresh. I like economy rice because I can pick and choose what I want to eat.
The dishes have just been cooked so it is piping hot. having choices is good.
I like the idea of refillable soup
Not many places have refillable soup.
The meat looks good and the veg looks fresh
Good enough.
That is a large portion... yes, economical...
Portion is ok because we take the food ourselves.
Yes. RM5 is quite a standard price for economy rice now.
In kuching? In kl it is not the standard price.
Wah really cheap wor!! Too bad it is in OUG, I'm not going there when I'm in KL, the petrol price will offset any cheapness to be had >.<
The chapfan place near your house with lots of choices and refillable soup and drinks, how much do they charge? Very affordable also right?
I paid like RM 8 for a meal a couple months ago. Hopefully the prices still the same.
You took more meat maybe.
Nowadays economy rice is not so economical anymore! A plate of economy rice used to cost RM5, now is more like RM7! >.<
Yes, some chapfan places really charge RM7 minimum. I was shocked when that happened.
not expensive at all..
agreed.
great! love malaysia for able to maintain such good prices!
At least some places do.
Wow, so, budget foods are also in here in the Philippines, it's a very trend for commoners here!
Good to hear that.
Now very "hing" chap farn shop, with refillable iced tea and soups.. I just had that for lunch last week..
This is dinner. Chapfans are popular for dinner too.
Counted them like Rm5, still okay ba!
still ok.
Now econ rice all mostoly min RM5 liao.
Sometimes this place charges MYR4.50 per plate with 1 meat 2 vege dishes.
That's not too bad for an economical meal :D
Quite all right.
Chap fun still offer the best value for money. Got the most protein and veggies per ringgit heh.
True.
I often eat economy rice at Tar Chong @ Uptown and the price of 2 plates are always below RM11.00Now I must try to make it below RM10!!!!
Uptown is an expensive location so 11 ringgit is considered ok.
