KK (Dry) Bak Kut Teh

One day, I joined my brother for lunch at KK (Dry) Bak Kut Teh restaurant, Batu Maung that is located near his work place. Bak Kut Teh in Hokkein means meat (bak), bones (kut), tea (teh).

Dry Bak Kut Teh with pork stomach, okra / lady fingers, pork meat balls and pork ribs. Not as salty and not as spicy as the famous Yap Chuan Dry Bak Kut Teh at Puchong.

Bak Kut Teh soup with vege (iceberg lettuce), bean curd sheets, tofu pok (tofu puffs), pork meat and pork ribs.
Chinese crullers (YouTiao) and Yam rice.

Iceberg lettuce with meat floss on top. Total bill is RM44 for 2 bowls of yam rice, 1 bowl of plain rice, 3 glasses of herbal teas, dry bak kut teh, bak kut teh soup and 1 plate of iceberg lettuce.

    1. The soup BKT can let you taste the herbs in the soup but not the dry BKT.
