So I ordered a small portion for MYR5.5 but as I couldn't eat that much noodle, I kept half of the noodle for lunch. Does it taste like authentic Kolo mee from Kuching? I honestly do not know because I have not eaten any before. The sauce taste a bit like Mamee Monster Noodle Snack's seasoning, not salty at all. The noodle does not have any alkaline nor egg taste. Just very firm and a bit on the hard side. I would say that it is tasty with no MSG as I do not feel thirsty at all after eating this.
Is this how kolo mee is supposed to look like? Is Kolo mee referring to the type of noodle used or referring to the way the noodle is cooked and served?
The stall is located in this coffee shop.
