When we were in Taiwan, my friend asked me to buy the following instant beef noodles. There are instant pork noodles as well under the same brand but we only bought those beef types. One set of two instant beef noodles in a plastic bowl cost TWD87 (MYR9.40). Those in packets (not in a plastic bowl) are cheaper and with the same ingredients.
Original flavour and Spicy flavour
The noodle and sachets of beef meat, sauce, and oil
Real beef meat provided. The taste is really delicious.
Found this being sold in one of the supermarkets here
The price for a set of two "bowls" here is MYR19.49 (100% more expensive)
Wow, that's really expensive, how's the taste??? Is there any extraordinary delicious?
ReplyDeleteBut try once in a while for new thing is fine la!!! =]
DeleteCompared to Maggie Mee or Cintan Mee, of course it is expensive but it has real beef meat. Yes, it is delicious for instant beef noodles. Cannot compare to fresh beef noodles. If you go Taiwan, must try this. No point buying here, too expensive.
DeleteWow so expensive. I didn't know. Friend bought for me as "hand letters" from taiwan. I was surprised to see it got real beef in it. Lol. Me jakun mah. Taste quite good though the beef was a bit tough.
ReplyDeleteNot jakun lah because instant noodles here don't include real meat. Taste good, right?
DeleteDouble the price...
ReplyDeleteYes, so better buy when in Taiwan and not here. How about in Singapore? How much does this beef mee cost in Singapore?
DeleteInstant noodles like this can be very good but as everyone is saying, try not to take this too frequently, bad for health ;)
ReplyDeleteHaha, thanks for the advice. Too expensive to eat this frequently. ;)
Deletewahhh...expensive...let me try to find this in houston =)
ReplyDeleteI think houston chinese grocery store will definitely have this under Taiwan product section. Do let me know the price when you find it. :)
DeleteActually I quite like instant noodles. Over here, there are many varieties similar to the Taiwan types and they are really good but I dare not eat them anymore after watching a YouTube video about how bad they are... Only once in a while, just curi makan a bit :p
