Staff refused to allow kid3 to accompany so staff accompany. Weird happenings. The staff accompanying the elderly says 🗝️ stuck, cannot open, wait for technician from another location to open it. So kid3 says ok, go for lunch then return. But after about 30 minutes, staff says ok, can try again even though the technician has not arrived. This time staff allows kid3 to accompany until the inner door but not inside the inner door. And surprisingly the 🗝️ can work, not stuck. What a weird event. So closed acc successfully and all 3 went for lunch nearby.
*** Kaya Swiss Roll ***
*** Guan Di Taoist Temple ***
12.54 noon - guan di temple. Saw many tourists visiting this temple. The elderly made a MYR 20 nett donation into the上油donation box.
2.16 pm - it was hot so kid3 requested me to order iced drinks so I used shopeefood and bought two drinks:
*** Hung Kee Sri Petaling ***
4.58 pm - the elderly's dinner. Remaining items are 1 chicken claw, a few pieces of char siew which were discarded.
5.06 pm - we brought home this portion of siew yuk and char siew for another day. I like the char siew because they are mostly lean meat which is also the reason the elderly didn't eat most of them. The siew yuk has crispy skin which is salty.
*** Soong Kee Beef Noodles jln tun hslee ***
1 Ju chap Congee, 1 soup beef noodles, 1 dry beef noodles and 1 bowl beef slices with two hot tea MYR 40 nett.
11.54 am - my order of dry beef noodles. The dish is less salty than Yang kee's beef noodles so I prefer this less salty version. These beef brisket pieces are too tough for my teeth so the beef slices are better since the beef slices are tender. In summary, tasty food.
11.52 am - after we ordered the beef noodles, I quickly walk to lorong Sisi jalan yap ah loy to buy my favourite Kaya swiss roll from the elderly lady. There is a sign that says Pei Yoke's Cakes. Her off day is on Sunday so she sells the kaya swiss rolls from Monday to Saturday. For cny, she will rest for 10 days starting from Wednesday.
I bought a whole Kaya swiss roll MYR 24 and 2 lard Kaya puffs at MYR 2.50 each.
While eating lunch, kid3 received a call to collect items from a location 400 meter away 6 mins walk which is near for us two but not walking distance for the elderly. At 12 noon, grab is all busy so I went out to attempt to hail a red white taxi while kid3 paid for lunch.
At 12.24 noon, I managed to hail a red white taxi outside soong Kee but I couldn't find kid3 and the elderly. I requested the taxi to wait while I called kid3 who finally picked up my call after 4 minutes of ringing. It seems that kid3 in all his bravado has supported the elderly to walk 170 meter normally 2 minutes in the direction of the place they wanted to go to. I asked them to wait there and requested the taxi to go to that place to pick them up.
The taxi had to make a big round of 1.1 km which took 6 minutes due to many traffic lights and thankfully managed to pick both up. Kid3 told me that when he asked the elderly, ok to walk there, the elderly humourously replied, "wah, boxer also wet la". Wet from the sweat due to the hot weather.
The taxi fare meter shows MYR 6.xx but I handed the taxi driver 2 x ten because he waited quite long twice but he is so honest, said too much and returned ten to me and wanted to give me the change but I requested him to please keep the change. PTL for meeting kind and helpful people hbb7658.

2.16 pm - it was hot so kid3 requested me to order iced drinks so I used shopeefood and bought two drinks:
1+1 which has more milk and sweeter with less coffee taste.
Cham which has less milk with more coffee taste
So next time no more 1+1
1.43 pm to 1.55 pm - total price MYR 14.10 nett for two large iced drinks.
We accompanied the elderly until evening and decided to just order dinner delivery and eat dinner with the elderly because we were too tired after a long day to drive out to eat dinner.

Must have been frustrating when couldn't contact Kid3 after procuring the taxi!
