After pouring in the gravy. Both of us shared this noodle as a snack in between meals. Dark vinegar is provided too to be added by the customer. It has been quite a long time that we haven't eaten light lor Mee broth so we drank all the egg drops gravy and finished eating all the soft thick fat lor noodles and vege pork slices ingredients.
I have around 6 evouchers for MYR 4 off a minimum purchase of MYR 10 for shopeefood that are expiring in a few days so I will try to use them up by ordering from eateries nearby. With foc delivery fees, this lor Mee costs MYR 6.50 nett only after discounts.

The soup for the lor mee is light. Here, the colour is darker.
ReplyDeleteThis version is the light version. In kl, there are dark versions of lor Mee gravy too.
Deleteusually the lor mee that i had is dark gravy. This one is more like Cantonese style yinyong gravy. The noodles remind me of udon.
ReplyDeleteThis noodle is the traditional lor Mee fat noodles though the fatness is similar to udon. Dark gravy is more northern pg style lor Mee I believe. When young the lor Mee I ate around the vicinity is all light gravy but now pg lor Mee is more popular so more people sells dark gravy lor Mee now.
DeleteI presume you did not eat the crispy pork lard. LOL!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha, you know me so well. 😂you are right, I didn't eat the crispy pork lard but he ate one cube and said it is very crispy.
DeleteNow I'm more familiar with the ulu yam style of lor mee. This one looks like wat tan hor type. At least still have the black vinegar.
ReplyDeleteYa, thick fat noodles always need to be eaten with vinegar.
