Lucky Alley Foodpanda

On Saturday 14.aug.21, we picked up some fruits and passed it to my friends at the gate. Received delivery of mutiara naga rice 10 kg at MYR 53.99 and sent it to the elderlies.

*** Thursday 12.aug.21 ***

11.37 am - Braised pork ribs rice is sold by the roast duck stall. The pork ribs are tender and charred. Has a caramelized sweet taste. Kept the rice for next day.

MYR 7.60 nett after pick up discount.

11.37 am - char kway teow mixed with yellow noodles gives a texture contrast than just having kway teow. Shared by two pax for lunch.

Fri 13.aug.21 10.27 am - breakfast of 3jc dry Mee hoon. The minced meat has fatty bits so I kept spitting them out.

Fri 13.aug.21 6.47 pm - ate one sui gao and tried the egg noodles which are thin and almost crunchy. The pork fillings in the sui gao are very soft, too soft, I prefer it to be firmer a bit.

Same shop as the pork rib rice but different online shop in Foodpanda so arranged Lalamove to collect from both stalls in Lucky Alley on Thursday for food to be eaten for 2 days, Thu and Fri.

  1. I mistook the braised pork ribs for char siew. LOL!

    1. They do taste like they were marinated using the same sauce as char siew. I think is the same, just that they use pork ribs instead of pork belly or pork loin or pork shoulder, those common cuts for making char siew.

  2. The braised rib looked like char sure with the char part. What you do with the rice? It is oiled rice, right? Steam it up, it will be good to eat.

    1. Taste somewhat like char siew too. Think they use the same sauce to marinate the pork ribs. From the fridge, the next day he stir fried the rice with the remaining Kam Heong gravy from the day before.
