Sakima

Is this snack familiar to you?

Made from eggs, sugar, flour, wheat molasses and cooking oil. Not very healthy eh? Made in Perak.

Kam Wai brand. Do you have a favourite brand for this food item?

Very sticky and sweet so just eat a bit and all your teeth feels sticky. Used to eat this a lot when I was a child.

Side view. Thickness is about 3 cms.

  8. It's my first time knowing Sakima's confectionary and it looks delicious. In my country there is a traditional food covered in sticky sugar called 'Balung Kuwuk' ...

  10. I grew up in Ipoh so sakima was always around. I rather like it though the slightly-eggy smell puts me off a bit.

Your lunch is considered a balanced one... egg=protein, kimchi=veggies and rice=carbo!

    1. I think most people like sakima likes it because of the slightly eggy smell. This means u don't like eggy smell? Thanks, hope to have Kimchi to eat everyday. Very appetising.
