Pomace Cafe

On Christmas day this year which was yesterday, I did not dine out because I am not dining out yet so I ordered from a new cafe in the neighbourhood and went to pick up the order myself since it is a public holiday.

Pomace Cafe opened for business in Jul/Aug 2020.

Nice modern decor.

So sad to read this note from them. Hope the chef will open a new cafe one day.

So nice of the cafe to give a discount.

They gave this cookie on the house too.

Nice packaging.

A flat white.

All five prawns are fresh and succulent. The XO radish cakes are flavourful and just salty enough so it tastes delicious!

  1. Food looks good. Looks like they do not mix the egg together with the radish, never seen it like that before. Nice touch, the gingerbread cookie!

  4. The cafe looks nice and the owners seem like nice people too. Just bad luck to start business during this period.

    2. Probably this business failure lost them a lot of money.

  8. Oh dear. The pandemic must have hit this Pomace Cafe hard. Few cafes below my wife's education centre have closed shop too in less than one year. The renovations were every expensive.

    1. The rental of these shoplots must be very expensive so cannot sustain. Your wife's education centre must be equally expensive but I believe you both can sustain cos u are also contributing to the rental since your office is also sharing the space there but it could be you both own the shoplot so it is ok.
