WG Red Kettle Starling

I am also not sure why on this particular day I ordered Iced Cappuccino during lunch at MYR 12.50+ (10% service charge = MYR 13.75 nett). It tastes fine.

Pan Fried Seabass at  MYR 28.90+ (MYR 31.79 nett). My friend ordered Sambal Tumis Seabass with Rice at the same price. For both dishes, the seabass steaks are prepared in the same way - pan fried. We saw these seabass dishes in the menu and decided to have lunch at this eatery.

The mashed potatoes is creamy and the roasted vegetables - broccoli, cauliflower, baby tomatoes, sugar snap peas and brinjals are tasty. The skin of the seabass is pan fried till very crispy.

A different view.

Total price for 2 pax is MYR 78.20 nett.

Entrance. As PH said "No more" in her post, I will also not be returning for more because even though the seabass tastes fine, I can do without it due to its price.

  1. Any place that charges 10% service charge, I will not go again. I will leave a tip if service is good but I will not be held to ransom and forced to cough out that 10% like that.

    1. Almost all eateries in malls and shopping centers here charge 10% or 5% service charge.

  2. True. Not worth the price. But I do love a good pan-fried sea bass.

    1. To be fair, many eateries also charge this 10% service charge.

  4. This place is still popular with diners. Their pockets must be big.

  5. Expensive lunch huh. I do order cappuccinos and like yours, it ends up being almost half the price of the food.
