Sangkaya at The Mines

Spotted Sangkaya at The Mines shopping mall

A new stall/kiosk opening at the same mall - what is it?

Sushi Takeaway - every single piece of sushi at the same price - MYR1.80 nett. They are on facebook and their kiosks can be found at:
L1-78(P), level 1 The Mines shopping mall
and
Lot G56 ground floor Wisma Cosway.
I did not buy any from them because I had eaten lunch and was still full. Maybe next time.

  1. You didn't have the ice cream again? They're all over now, all over the place and in other towns and cities, dunno whose kiosk this it. It's a franchise, anybody can go in and open a kiosk or more...and I saw on Facebook a spin-off along this same line opening at KLCC. That, of course, is bound to happen - once, somebody starts a trend, everyone will jump on the bandwagon.

You stay near the Mines. That is pretty far away from KL, isn;t it?

    1. Oh, there is a spin off at KLCC? It has been a long time since I went to KLCC so I think I will drop by there to check this out. The Mines shopping mall is only about 25mins (driving at 45.x km/hour due to traffic) or 19km from KLCC so it is not that far away.

  2. I remember being at The Mines many years ago. I am sure everything will be so different from those days. Have a happy Saturday!

    1. The shops inside may be different but the structure and layout of the shopping mall I think is still the same, especially the canal part.

  6. The Mines... Too many years since I last set foot into that mall. I once won a kids level art competition there. Those drawing and coloring with crayon ones. No, I can't draw and color anymore now...

Next time tapao some of those sushi, I want to see if they are any good.

    1. Wow! You must be good in drawing and colouring with crayons once upon a time to have won the competition. Wait, let me eat at Sushi Mentai first before trying this.

  7. For cheap sushis, I always buy from sushi kiosks, usually RM1 per piece.. The new setup looks like ice crea/cake/desserts place.. Occasionally, will go to The Mines, coz it's on the way to my MIL's house..

  9. Sangkaya kiosks seems to be everywhere now. Seldom ta-pau sushi unless from AEON Mid Valley. I passed by Mines daily but it has been years since I last went there.
