13A pieces?

Noticed this stand so went closer to scrutinise it. The food looks delicious but there is a puzzling number stated as below.

Bavarian Meatballs - 7 pieces of meatballs for MYR15, 13A pieces for MYR21.50 and I know 13A in Hexadecimal is 314 in decimal so could we claim 314 pieces of meatball from them for the stated price? That would be a steal! :D

    1. 13A is usually used to replace 14 for house number.

  2. Indeed!!! What on earth is that A there for? Is that an asterisk at the end? Any term or condition somewhere?

  5. haha that is indeed interesting huh?? but I think most probably 13A means 14 like many buildings will name their 14th floor?? or just 13 pieces but the A is a typo?? you should go in and clarify with the staff one day, haha~~

    1. I don't think the staff would know why the typo happened.

  6. Looks like it's a 14! The person who commissioned this ad must have too much time in the lift...

  12. Obviously they wanted it to mean 14 lah, but you should totally go and.. apa nama... like my managers like to say... "challenge status quo". Go demand 314 meatballs from them!

  13. If you ask me and I would say it's advertising gimmicks to attract people to take a second look at the 13A. Perhaps they pantang that word to be read as 14 Meatballs....!!! Muahahaha It could be a dish from the morgue.

It looks very good and tasty from their Bavarian pix. The price gets cheap for 14 pieces too. Yums...!
