So so tasty!

Went early to Klang for the famous Bak Kut Teh. Only MYR10 per bowl for the above.

The whole skin is very soft, gooey and flavourful too - oh so tasty!

It is just 8am but so many people there eating bak kut teh

Mo Sang Kor at Taman Berkeley, Klang. There are other outlets but the quality may not be the same.

    1. You are right! I just ate the lean meat only and that is nice too.

  7. I don't do fatty pork but I'm surprised that you do...someone who eats so healthily but I guess, at the end of the day, if it's really your favourite, no-one can resist the temptation! ;D

    1. I don't. I just ate the lean meat which is very soft tender and tasty. My spouse ate the skin which is not considered as fatty bits and said it is nice.

    2. Oh, when you commented "The whole skin is very soft, gooey and flavourful too - oh so tasty!"....I thought you ate it...but looks like it was your spouse's comment! :D

I saw this post on kyspeaks recently and it seems you're not allowed to ask for additional soup here...is that true?

    3. We didn't ask for additional soup because we read online before the visit that they won't entertain such requests.

  9. I love Bak Kut Teh and still think Klang has the best choices that could suit any fussy eaters. I eat very little fat but prefer the lean meat with its soup!

    1. The skin is ok as long as you scrap off the fatty bits underneath it.

  10. I have tried this type before but prefer the version where the meat is swimming in the soup.

  11. I think I have tried this one.. is it pork legs or shanks? Here we called it "pata" and my mom used to make sweet stew with it.. don't consume much though , otherwise, your blood pressure will gone mad LOL
