No service charge - Penang History located at D'Pulze mall, Cyberjaya
I like Pg lor mee, very hard to get to eat these in KL.. Usually, if I say lor mee, I would get those wat tan hor punyer gravy..
ReplyDeleteThat is if you order lor mee at dai chow is it?
DeleteNo service charge? What's the ++ then? +GST...and the other +?
ReplyDeleteGee!!! At those prices, I think I'd pass, thank you very much. Usually at these classier upscale joints, everything is nice...but not really nice, not as nice as at the authentic stalls and shops and will burn a hole in one's pocket, for the comfort, the nice decor and the air-conditioning. All the empty tables says it all.
Oh my bad then. Should be only one +. We were very early and on a weekend too so that was why there were many empty tables.
DeleteKway Teow Soup looks pretty tempting!
ReplyDeleteYou like clear broth?
DeleteI think you've covered all the major types of noodles....except for Penang Assam Laksa...haha! :D Hey, I like the wallpaper :)
ReplyDeleteNo assam laksa on the menu. I think the wallpaper is custom printed.
DeleteHuh, no assam laksa? Then the Penang (food) history is not complete leh! ;D
DeleteI also don't know why they did not include assam laksa in their menu.
Deleteyummy eats.... i love the prawn noodles
ReplyDeleteIs it your favourite noodles?
DeleteI think I'll go with that Lor Mee.. it looks very appetizing to me... I love the wallpapers too
ReplyDeleteIt is tasty. You like the antique windows on the wall paper?
DeleteI will choose the char koay teow anytime :)
ReplyDeleteYou like the wok hei?
DeleteThe kway teow soup and curry mee would make Penangites spit in disgust I think. No pork blood and cockles...
ReplyDeleteThe see ham 's' were hidden underneath the noodles but no blood, that's true.
DeleteI like the wallpaper, like the real one.
ReplyDeleteCan understand why because you like architecture.
Deleteso the Penang style lor mee is different from the lor mee we have here, that looks like our lam mee over here, agree?? anyway, i am actually more interested in the curry mee and prawn mee, haha, spicy and more flavorful huh?? :p
ReplyDeleteKL lor mee is not that dark. You like spicy food more?
DeleteNice to see some classic dishes.
ReplyDeleteHave you tried all of them before?
DeleteI like the curry mee and prawn mee
ReplyDeleteyou like spicy food more too?
DeleteChar kway teow for me! Missed this so much!
ReplyDeleteKon char hor in HK is quite similar to CKT here.
DeleteI love all the food on your table including the wall paper. I hear Cyberjaya and chickened out. Lol
ReplyDeleteYou don't like to go there?
DeleteA bit too far lah but I always had to criss-cross that place for work.
DeleteNext time you criss cross, just do a pit stop at this mall la!
DeleteOk! evrytime there's a boiled egg in a dish, i would definitely declare that the food is delicious already! My verdict: THIS IS FREAKING DELIECIOUS!! :)
ReplyDeleteAh, is your favourite food boiled egg?
DeleteThose noodles all look delicious to me. I would love to take one spoonful from each bowl .
ReplyDeleteIf many people go eat there, can all share and each eat a bit of each.
DeleteI like the wallpaper
ReplyDeleteWill you like these wallpapers on your house walls?
DeleteLooks like Penang food alright... Only that the portion is much larger... Yummy!!
ReplyDeleteYou are right! The portion is definitely larger!
