hmmmm, guess i won't be lucky enough for this.. normal days, i will not be around 1U.. weekends, i will not be waking up until 10am, hahaha!! anyway, i wonder if they have fixed timeslots for baking the egg tarts like many HK bakeries and restaurants??
Call me jakun, we don't go to 1U, coz faraway from our place.. The place we always go to are usually Pyramid or Midvalley.. Egg tarts, I can eat 10, give me!

ReplyDeleteDon't think they have fixed time slots.
DeleteSeems like a fine place.
ReplyDeleteYes it is.
Delete8 is late for us here. 7 is fine. Most hotels serve breakfast at 6.30.
ReplyDeleteOh ya! Forgot! It gets bright around 6 here.
DeleteHotels here also serve breakfast that early but this is in a shopping mall where the other shops open only around 10 or 11am.
DeleteIn kl 7am only it gets bright!
DeleteOh my. I love the look of the egg tart. The custard look smooth and creamy.
ReplyDeleteIt tastes as good as it looks.

ReplyDeleteTHW at Midvalley also opens at 8am during weekend. You can go there with your 3 boys.
DeleteOMG look at those tarts! I can literally swear that they will be delicious, look at how yellow the custard is, and how flaky the crust is!
ReplyDeleteI thought you would say no, this does not look like real egg tarts but I am wrong! Hope they open an outlet in Pg soon.
DeleteWhat do you mean? These are the REAL egg tarts!
DeleteHaha, I agree.
DeleteAh...this is their new outlet...more outlets, less queue! ;D
ReplyDeleteOpened quite a while ago. The Midvalley outlet also opens at 8am during weekends and public holidays.
DeleteThat's good they open at 8:00am. Hopefully at that hour there is less people.
ReplyDeleteYou want to go and try?
DeleteIf go at 8am, finish eating do what? Other shops not open yet...
ReplyDeleteEat slowly until 10am then got other shops open at that time.
DeleteJust look at the tarts! I miss the Portuguese tarts but your tarts looks as good as the Macau tarts!
ReplyDeletePortugese tarts are sold in KL too but I don't they are as delicious as those in Macau.

DeleteTo me, this place is over-rated in SG. Tried once but nothing great at all I'm afraid.....
ReplyDeleteI think their BBQ buns and Ma Lai Ko is very tasty. Can't find equivalent in other shops.
DeleteThis a bit of off topic, but I really like the plate in the first picture, is like it design to put egg tart, like fit perfectly...hahaha!!
ReplyDeleteI think the plate should be custom made.
DeleteOhh...egg tarts.yumm. Haven't try their egg tarts though but eaten lots of the baked BBQ buns.hahah
