At about 3 pm, we received a meal from Choo Choo chicken via shopeefood delivery when we didn't order any food from them. The rider read out our address. Apparently the buyer keyed in our address into the app or it could be the app went crazy and assign another address? The rider called the buyer to get the correct address which is a few streets away in the same Taman. What a mistake!

I have problem with Grab app. There seemed to be a fixed house address in our neighbourhood so we can't change it. So everytime I ordered from Grab, after confirmed a rider, I will message the rider on our house number.
ReplyDeleteThe app should fix this issue. Luckily you always message the rider so you get the food correctly.
DeleteThis type of technical error makes the Grab food delivery difficult. What happens if someone just accept the food and the poor deliverer gets the blame.
ReplyDeleteFor Rose case, it is a technical error but for the shopeefarm case, I am not sure is the customer error or app but why would someone key in the wrong address, right?
Deleteluckily the Grab delivery guy called the buyer instead of just leaving the food at the designated address/place (and left).
