WG Frangipaani

Racheado Fish Fry - MYR 36+ (6% SST = MYR 38.16 nett). The word recheado means stuffed in Portuguese. Recheado masala is a red paste which is often used as stuffing in fishes like pomfret and mackerel. Here it is used to marinate and coat the 3 pieces of mackerel (the fish tastes like mackerel but I did not confirm it with the restaurant).

Chicken Biryani at MYR 36+ (MYR 38.16 nett). We did not realise that the biryani includes a pot of raita made of minty yogurt and pomegranate so it is very refreshing. We planned to share the above two orders but were told the dishes are individual size and there is only one piece of fish (this is a piece of wrong information as later it turned out to be 3 pieces of fish) so we were advised to order another dish so we ordered Mushroom Kadhai at MYR 26+ (MYR 27.56 nett) which is a very tasty mushroom curry with lots of gravy. This is a vegetarian dish which includes two pieces of naan.

Herbed tomato soup - MYR 15+ (MYR 15.90 nett). It is a rich tomato soup with spice taste.

Normally I don't order drinks during lunch but I have a weakness for lassi so mango and fennel lassi it is - at MYR 14+ (MYR 14.80 nett). Very tasty! I could just drink this lassi alone and be full.

Total bill is MYR 134.60 nett for two pax. Too much food so I took home almost half of them in my trusted containers.

Part of the drinks menu.

The Raita from the ala carte menu should be the same raita served with the biryani.

I would like to order the paneer dish next time.

More items on the menu

They even have a desserts section.

Shopfront. It is located in the same building (The Republik, Damansara Heights) as Blonde.

  8. This place had been tempting me since people started posting about it on FB haha. Doubt will actually go though, given its location and it's spicy food.

    2. Husband is typical Chinese, hardly will choose Indian or Malay food. The kids can't take spicy.
