Teo Chew Lor

Once in a blue moon dinner at Teo Chew Lor, One Utama at 6.30 pm. Yam rice (1 pax) at MYR 3+ (6% service charge = MYR 3.18 nett), Kway Chap at MYR 3+ (MYR 3.18 nett) and a quarter roast duck at MYR 24+ (MYR 25.45 nett). We kept the food that we could not finish in our trusted containers from home for another meal.

I like the Chui Kueh I ordered previously so I had them again at MYR 5.65+ (MYR 6 nett) for 1 portion of 4 per plate. My friend agrees with me that they are very tasty!

I am pleased to know that we can order this Red Grouper Fish Fillet Soup with Noodles (MYR 25+ = MYR 26.50 nett) from Sekinchan Catch in this Teo Chew Lor eatery because they are owned by the same parent company so I had this dish with mee hoon and kway teow. Tastes good as the one I ate before in Sekinchan Catch, One Utama which is located just opposite this eatery. The best thing is Teo Chew Lor accepts credit card paymets whereas Sekinchan Catch just accepts cash so now I can eat this Red Grouper Fish Fillet Soup Noodles and pay by credit card.

Total price is MYR 64.30 nett for 2 pax at Teo Chew Lor, One Utama. Too much food for 2 pax so we stored most of the food for another day.

  2. That's one thing I would love to try someday, yam rice. Don't think we have that here, Foochow town. Everything looks so good and I so love duck! Yum yummm!!!

  3. There is a Sekinchan Catch in Damansara Uptown but I have yet to visit. I like chui kueh and maybe I will try that. I actually had a post on dinner at Teo Chew Lor but it disappeared when I clicked publish!

    1. You can eat the red grouper fish fillet noodles at Teo Chew Lor so you don't need to walk out of Starling to Sekinchan Catch. I wonder whether or not you will like the chui kueh at Teo Chew Lor.

  6. I like the food here too. But rarely visit as the kids prefer something more different from their everyday food.
