Beer battered fish and chips at MYR 18.77 nett. The fish batter is crispy but I find it a bit on the oily side.
I chose salad again instead of soup like last time and I made an exception of drinking soft drink (zero coca cola) this time because I did not want to pay a fee to upgrade the drink like I did before by ordering fresh celery juice (add about MYR 3). The zero coca cola soft drink still tastes sweet so I will refrain from drinking the soft drinks next time.
As during my previous 2 visits, we have accumulated 6 stamps on the loyalty card so we redeemed 1 free set lunch this visit. The set lunch with the lowest price (tomato pasta) which is MYR 14.06 nett is deducted from our final bill which we then shared among the 4 of us by deduction MYR 3.51 nett from our individual set lunch meals.
If I were to choose, I will order soup rather than salad hee hee

DeleteOh? Oily? I had that once at MFM in Penang. I think the oil was not hot enough so the batter-coated fish was soaked in oil. Thankfully, other occasions elsewhere in KL, it was good - my girl loves the place. Gotta try this place...but priority, the ribs!

ReplyDeletethe loyalty card I think is just for set meals on weekdays. it is get 6 stamps/chops and get 1 set meal free. Do ask the staff there for details. hope your partner enjoy the fish and chips meal.

ReplyDeleteThe chips are ok but the fish batter tasted oily. I have eaten some not so oily deep fried fish before but quite rare.
