Pavilion Elite

There are many new restaurants in Pavilion Elite and when my friend got a 10% off opening promotion voucher that is valid until 31 October, she asked us along for lunch.

Winter Melon Soup - MYR 35+ (10% service charge = MYR 38.50 nett). My friend says this place is like a fine-dining steamboat restaurant because the server will cook the food in front of us and serve them. After this photo was taken, the server cut up the winter melon and let the pieces continue to be cooked in the soup.

There are 8 types of sauces and dips and a tube of wasabi for us to season the food to our preference. There are free flow Coriander/Cilantro too for us to flavour our food. Minimum order for Tiger Prawn is 300g and there are 7 prawns for this weight.

The special titbits are two bowls of cashew nuts. Total Bill is MYR 154.35 nett for 4 pax. We did not order too many items but due to the soup and winter melon, we were full.

It is located on Floor 9 of Pavilion Elite, next to Rakuzen.

  3. So cheap! Such huge prawns - here you get very small ones, not even as big as my little finger. :(

    1. The winter melon in the soup is very nicely presented before it was all cut up into pieces.

    1. Grand imperial steamboat menu is available at the One Utama branch too. Aha, you notice the nice gold 'cage'. The sauces are neatly arranged in there.
