Mini egg tarts

Bought some mini egg tarts and mini apple tarts at MYR0.80 each. I like them because the sweetness level is just right - not those very sweet ones.

This is the stall

They sell other food items too but I have not tried them all yet.

I noticed that the banner hanging here has the same name - Tai Zi Tart - as those mentioned in this post by RealGunner. I wonder whether they are the same or not.

This stall is located in this Win Heng Seng coffee shop in Imbi

  1. What the... for a moment I thought you went in search of it.
I didn't know they branched out. Probably not. This one seems to sell a wider variety of pastries..

    1. If not how come the name is the same? Or is that a generic name for mini tarts?

    2. I'm not sure. Either they branched out and the branch decides to do more, or they are ciplak one LOL!

  4. oh those mini egg tarts and mini Apple tarts surely looks delicious to me!! and oh my, they have so many other choices, I guess I would like to buy one of each and then have a taste of everything!! haha, no joke, I can wallop one piece of everything at one go, as I can see 8 types so that's not a problem for me, hehehe~~

oh so this is not the one at Cheras but they have another outlet at your usual monthly place for breakfast at Imbi!! great to know they have expanded their business.. Imbi is also more accessible than Cheras for me :)

    3. There are at a side of the many entrances. Maybe that's why you didn't notice it. I found a post by masak-masak (boo licious) written in 2007, the mini egg tarts were only 0.50 each.
