11.28 am - one pax portion MYR 9 nett. He ate these siew yuk and one big meat bao at around 3 pm as his early dinner. The frozen big bao is given to him by a neighbour.

His selection: white curry noodles MYR 9 nett and pork misua MYR 12 nett. I chose the misua noodles. We shared the above two bowls of noodles.

3.22 pm - he ate his roast meat combo takeaway for his early dinner. I didn't eat any of his early dinner as I have completed my meals at 12 noon.

He bought a portion with rice for the elderly at 10.30 am with a pack of Teena.

On Monday 12.may.2025, it is a public holiday so we went to Chun Heong coffee shop Bangsar and Midvalley mall for food.

9.23 am - I took advantage of the 8 am to 11 am promo of MYR 2+ black coffee with the purchase of two items so I bought:

1. Hazelnut Danish MYR 14.15+

2. Berries scones MYR 12.00+ for a portion of two scones 

3. Promo iced black coffee MYR 2.00+

Total MYR 29.85 nett 

The danish and scones are buttery so they are very tasty. I gave one scone to my friend.

Completed my meals for today at about 10.30 am after this danish and coffee.

9.20 am - daily 8 am to 11 am promo.

Both bowls of noodles are not a lot so is ok for us as we plan to eat more food in Midvalley Mall.

Siong Tong Gai PBJ

On Sunday 11.may.2025, morning we went to Nanyang Old Street Cafe taman Desa for brunch and I completed my meal with brunch. Then at 5 pm, we went to Siong Tong Gai pavilion bukit jalil with the elderly because kid2 is here too for the long weekend so everyone gathered to have dinner while I joined in for the photos but I didn't eat anything and also didn't drink anything, I just watched them eat dinner.

All the food is tasty 😋 so there is a queue as all the seats in this eatery are fully occupied when we arrived.

This is from our Sunday 23.march.2025 visit. They used buns instead of slices of bread to make this egg cheese ham sandwich.

10.26 am - my share of the rice. I prefer the rice to be softer.

9.51 am - total MYR 45.20 nett. With this brunch, I completed my brunch at 11.30 am.

6.13 pm - pak soh Kong fish with clams and enoki mushrooms 

6.21 pm - steamed eggs

6.20 pm - slice pork and salted fish Claypot. Flavourful 

6.25 pm - lettuce dish and sweet sour pork dish. He says that the pork is tough.

Kid1 spouse treated them to this dinner. I think it costs about MYR 300ish.

Salmon or Trout

On Saturday 10.may.2025, went to Sunny Republic Kopitiam Sri Petaling for brunch.

9.59 am - I requested the seller to grill the salmon without any salt and not to put teriyaki sauce which the seller kindly obliged. Two sets at MYR 15 nett each. Will definitely order this salmon set again.

It is tasty but I couldn't tell whether it is salmon or trout because it could be trout which is often sold as salmon. Even after reading up online about the differences, I still couldn't tell the difference.

10.05 am - MYR 10 nett siew yuk. I also bought one whole roast chicken MYR 50 nett for my friend.

10.07 am - he ordered cham lor noodles and this is my portion. I didn't drink his hot cham drink.

11.17 am - bought bread MYR 4 nett, one slice of dark chocolate cake MYR 4 nett and one cranberry cream cheese oyaki bun MYR 4.20 nett as my desserts. I completed my meal for this day after eating this bun and cake.

Turmeric Boneless Chicken

On Friday 9.may.2025, he wanted to go to OUG for brunch but while driving there, he changed his mind and went to park the car at pinnacle condo Sri petaling.

After eating his brunch at Thong Kee Sri Petaling, we went to C plus cafe to eat my brunch.

10 am - nasi lemak ayam kunyit set MYR 21.90+

The pieces of boneless chicken breast meat have retained the meat juices so I will order this set again. The 3 compartmental side dish contains sambal, deep fried anchovies peanuts and stir fry napa cabbage carrots.

The chicken dish has stir fry long beans and onions. I chose iced signature C coffee as the drink. This drink is not in the photo above. He ate some of the food above.

9.56 am - kaya butter toasts set MYR 14.90+

One glass of hot cham and two soft boiled eggs which he ate.

They gave me a 10% discount so the total is MYR 36.80 nett. As the service charge is 10%, it is similar to waiving the service charge.

9.26 am - he ordered mixed pork soup without any noodles.

9.29 am - we shared this bowl of prawn chicken pieces hot fun.

3.39 am - he ate one avocado because I have completed my meals at 11 am so I didn't want any.

Sweet Condensed Milk

On Thursday 8.may.2025, he decided to eat brunch at Teochew Cuisines Sri Petaling.

 One mixed set of single portion roast duck, braised pork belly, siew yuk and oil rice MYR 25.30+

I ordered:

1. Iced coffee MYR 4.60+

2. Kaya butter toast MYR 4.80+ which tastes milky as if it has sweet condensed milk spread onto the toasts so he didn't like the milky taste. I am ok with the taste.

Total MYR 37.50 nett.

10.03 am - my portion of the oil rice with one piece each of the meat. I ate all the fatty layers in the meat.

1.26 pm - ate a few slices of wholemeal bread with half avocado.
