Capsicum yong tofu

On Friday 10.april.2026, went to Kedai Makan Makan Sri Petaling formerly C plus cafe for food. Also dropped into yitcha Kaw Kaw unexpectedly.

*** Kedai Makan Makan Sri Petaling ***

8.44 am - omelette from two eggs for me.
Nasi Lemak deep fried chicken whole leg for him.

8.41 am - soft boiled eggs for him and we shared the taro paste butter toasts. The butter is very buttery and fragrant so he just ate one piece and asked me to eat 3 pieces.

8.40 am - cold coffee C kosong no sugar for me and hot coffee less sugar for him.
I like the yong tofu items here because the fish paste fillings taste authentic and they even have yellow and green capsicums with fish paste fillings. I ordered 1 piece of green capsicum, 1 piece of yellow capsicum, 2 Brinjals, 1 bitter gourd and 1 okra. Ytf is priced at 2.7, 2.8 or 2.9 per piece.

Total for 7 items: about MYR 67 ish

*** Yitcha Kaw Kaw Sri Petaling ***

9.48 am - he ordered one breakfast set of hot coffee, soft boiled eggs and kaya butter toasts MYR 12.65 nett while waiting for me.

Morning 44.45
Next morning 44.50
Retained 50g water which is negligible.

*** The End ***

  2. I had taro paste toast at Yitcha Kaw Kaw but have yet to blog about it. It was ok only for me, I thought they might put steamed taro slices LOL!

    1. I remember trying the taro paste in the toasts at yitcha Kaw Kaw but couldn't really remember the taste. I remember saying ok, no need to eat it again. I think all places use taro paste in the toasts. Haven't encountered any steamed taro slices in toasts yet. πŸ˜‚

  4. Capsicums are so colourful, but I don't care much for the taste.
