Phoenix Claw

On Wednesday 8.april.2026, went to Sri Petaling for food.

*** 126 Kopitiam Sri Petaling ***

He ordered Sarawak laksa MYR 13 nett.

10.05 am - my portion of Sarawak laksa with two braised eggs. The two braised eggs are bought from the chapfan stall MYR 1.50 each.
We shared a plastic glass of cold cham MYR 3.50 nett.
The tub of sun sweet prunes made in Chile, are bought from spdmrt99. The price tag says MYR 19.90 nett but after paying and walking back I only found out they billed me for MYR 19.95 nett. My mistake for not checking at the cashier control so I didn't go back to point out this error. Just forgo the 5 cents.

10.08 am - he also ordered steamed chicken rice MYR 9 nett. I helped him to finish the rice by eating half of it but I didn't eat any of the chicken nor beansprouts.

*** Ye Tian Bkt Sri Petaling ***

10.45 am - he bought takeaway phoenix claws aka chicken feet MYR 13 nett from ye Tian Bkt shop. He ate all of them while I only ate one mushroom cut into two. The gravy is bak kut teh mushrooms gravy, not fermented black bean sauce gravy.

From online:
"Phoenix claws aka 鳳爪 Fèng zhuǎ are a popular Cantonese dim sum dish consisting of deep-fried, then braised chicken feet known for their tender, gelatinous texture and savory, umami-rich flavor. They are typically marinated in a fermented black bean sauce, appearing puffy from frying before being steamed."

*** Avocado 🥑 ***

2.41 pm - we shared one greenskin avocado 🥑 which has very thin skin that breaks easily when we are scooping out the avocado meat with a spoon. I ate half of the 🥑 with a slice of wholemeal bread. Before that I ate two bananas 🍌

Morning 44.65
Next morning 44.40
Removed 250g water because drank cham which acts as diurectics.

*** The End ***
