4.18 pm - His Dinner of chicken rice wine bought using Foodpanda delivery from Wai Bak Kut Teh which is located outside Kopitiam M Lounge 3, Jalan Riang Ria, Happy Garden I believe. I have never been there. He blanched some spinach for dinner too.
2.24 pm - on the next day, Wednesday 11.jan.2023, when he got back from the elderly's doctor appointment, he reheated Wai Bak Kut Teh with added beancurd rolls and we ate it for lunch.
He cooked a brick of instant noodles for me to eat with my portion of the Bak Kut Teh. Very tasty 😋 the Bak Kut Teh broth is light without dang gui. They stuffed the intestines with many layers of intestines so it was thick and tender, nice to chew. The beancurd rolls that he added taste good too.
3.32 pm - wai Bak Kut Teh - ordered via Foodpanda delivery with MYR 15 off by using Foodpanda New Year e-voucher.

10 days to CNY!
When I was in school, just before CNY, I would go to bookshops to select and buy those small sweet smelling CNY cards to give to my friends in school. The pretty CNY cards cost about 20 cents each. Do students still do this now? Give CNY cards to each other?
Remember those decoration booth. Their Xmas decor booths are very lovely. I guess they reuse and change the theme to fit CNY.
ReplyDeleteI not sure on kids giving card to friends nowadays. I know mine didn't. Lol. Now mostly have phone so can send virtual greeting or emoji. Lol.
Thanks. So no more physical cards.
DeleteI think these days, very few people send physical greeting cards.
ReplyDeleteYour office doesn't send physical CNY cards to your customers? Companies still send, right?
DeleteMy kids don't talk about physical cards so I don't think it's a thing in their world now.
ReplyDeleteOk thanks. So children nowadays don't give physical CNY greeting cards to each other anymore.
