Sweet Sunday

On Sunday 6.nov.2022, went to Taman Desa to buy groceries and chapfan no rice lunch for ourselves.

*** Tuck Tuck Tei coffee shop ***

1.47 pm - cute colourful angku kuih and sago kuih, as colourful as teletubbies. Sago kuih pink, green, yellow taste strongly of coconut. Each pack costs MYR 2.70 nett.

2.44 pm - green Pandan kaya fillings, pink rose fragrant with red bean fillings, red angku with sweet mung bean paste fillings and yellow angku with salty mung bean paste fillings. I also bought a bak Chang MYR 8.50 nett from the same kuih stall.

12.19 noon - chapfan lunch with no rice MYR 18 from the chapfan stall for both of us:
1. Chicken thigh
2. Okra
3. Eggs bittergourd stir fry
4. Two braised eggs
5. Napa cabbage
6. Yin choy
7. Pumpkin
8. petai minced meat 

*** RT Pastry ***

1.44 pm - taro swiss roll with taro paste in the middle MYR 15.80 and chocolate butter cake 200 g about MYR 12.80 from RT Pastry. Will last me for at least 10 days.

*** Shan Quan ***

1.09 pm - frozen meat bones MYR 36 per kg and frozen ribs MYR 41.48 per kg.

This Shan Quan meat store is located in Taman Desa.

4.38 pm - he boiled ribs and bones small bitter gourd soup for his dinner.

*** Ripe Avocado ***

2.22 pm - 2 of 2 avocado MYR 6.99 each bought from De Market supermarket on Thursday. Creamy and tasty! 😋

    1. He says he knows how to select the ripe avocados that are ready to be eaten immediately.

    2. We are not buying those unripe avocados anymore. Only buy those ripe ones.
