Bought this at the food merchant supermarket, pavilion Bukit Jalil for MYR 18.22 at MYR 55.90 per kg which is a higher price than frozen meat bones MYR 36 per kg and frozen ribs MYR 41.48 per kg from Shan Quan meat store in Taman Desa.
4.13 pm - he cooked both pieces of meat in the pan after marinating them with various spices including turmeric. This is one piece, he kept the cooked piece 2 in the fridge for the next day.
He ate this piece of meat for his dinner with raw cabbage and store bought kimchi. I didn't try his food so I don't know what the meat tastes like but he says the meat is tender and delicious. 😋

There are no photos of my OMAD because I am eating remaining food from previous days to clear them as nowadays I divide the food I bought into more than one portion and eat them over a few days.
I thought he is going to make pork chop using the loin. But stir fried also quite nice. Sometimes I bought loin from my usual butcher, ask him to slice for me so I no need to do so at home.
ReplyDeleteIt is a cooked pork chop cut into 4 pieces. He ate raw cabbage as shown in the photo with kimchi. There is no stir fried. Did you think the photo is before stir frying that will mix everything together? The 4 pieces of pork are thick and not slices.
DeleteThose pork shoulder loin steaks are gorgeous! That is the sort of cut that I like, with fats hee..hee.. It is very tender and juicy if cooked just right.
ReplyDeleteOh, so you like this cut too. I guess this cut is perfect for pork steak.
DeleteThe pack of pork shoulder loin steak looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOh, you like to cook pork chops too?
Deletedid u lose weight for practicing OMAD?
ReplyDeleteMy weight has always been between 45 to 47 kg for a 5 feet person. Now it is between 44 to 46 kg depending on how much I eat and drink during the day. Don't think I can go down further. I hope to go down to 42 to 44 kg but then the BMI is unhealthy.
DeleteThe meat is nicely presented on the plate too. Like order from a (maybe Japanese) restaurant.
ReplyDeleteThank you. He plated it nicely in the wok for me to take photo.
