On Wednesday 22.sep.21, we picked up our lunch order from Good Taste eatery on our way home.
*** Friday 17.sep.21 ***
12.04 noon - we haven't eaten this dish for a few years now so I was pleasantly surprised to see it being sold in Jazz Cafe Sri Petaling so we ordered it. The taste is decent so we will buy it again.
12.11 noon - very nice fruit rojak with pineapple, cucumber, papaya, jicama, and kedondong. The sauce is provided in a small tub for us to add it to the rojak ourselves.
Taste good but I wouldn't call it mee jawa because the gravy is not thick enough and it tastes sourish similar to assam gravy so we will not buy this dish again.

Lunch and dinner but kept one for next day breakfast.
Jazz cafe? I never heard of this place beforeππ€π€ the yam braised pork...is the pork fatty?
ReplyDeleteI also don't know about it so I just googled and found the photo. The signboard says jazz restaurant and it is on the same row as the tiger bank. It is layered belly meat 5 fa lam so got layers of fats.
Deletethanks for info!
DeleteWelcome! π
DeleteThe rojak looks good, miss eating rojak. The gravy of mee sometime not so thick as expected, but look yummy still.
ReplyDeleteYou are right, the Mee jawa is tasty on its own merits but doesn't taste like the Mee jawa that I have eaten before. This fruit rojak is very good though, fresh and tasty so will order again.
DeleteI love yam braised pork. I am missing our favourite fruit rojak in town.
ReplyDeleteYa, I read your post on yam braised pork that tempted me to buy this dish. π Hope you get to eat your favourite fruit rojak soon.
DeleteI almost bought rojak today... Shopee started its food delivery and there's a Penang shop nearby. I might get some before the vouchers expire in Sep.
ReplyDeleteYa, I saw shopee delivery motorbikers around. Oh, got vouchers then must use.
