9 meatballs

Whenever we need to go to MyTown Mall, we would go at 9 am to ensure we find a parking spot. Then we would buy the combo 3 at Ikea cafeteria to have a snack and proceed to look for proper lunch. One day, we walked through the whole of MyTown Mall at around 10.30 am to find that most eateries were not opened yet so we ended up at Go Noodle.

A bowl of noodle and a hot ginger tea for my friend. I just nibble off the bowl and took a sip of the tea. Both pork tendon balls and the pork mushroom balls are flavourful but the mushroom taste has an edge over the tendon balls.

The mushroom pork ball noodles (soup) costs MYR 12.50++ (10% service charge and 6% SST = MYR 14.50 nett) and we added a serving of pork tendon balls at MYR 3.50++ (MYR 4.06 nett) so this bowl of noodles with 9 meatballs costs MYR 16.56 nett. The ginger tea costs MYR 4.50++ (MYR 5.22 nett).

Total price is MYR 23.80 nett for 1 pax.

Go Noodle House at MyTown Mall.

Another day at MyTown Mall and we ended up at Go Noodle House again. They ran out of grouper fish slices so we had to make do with fish paste (yu wat) though we prefer to eat grouper fish slices. Truth be told, I would rather eat fries than noodles in soup but my companions outvoted me.

This is my must-eat whenever I am at MyTown Mall. Just need to walk over to Ikea cafe to buy this sausage in a bun and put mustard all over it. The ala carte price is MYR 2 nett for one.

  2. So cheap! RM2.00 only! I'm sure they cost more at the roadside stalls. I would love to check this Go Noodle place out when I get the chance. I love anything in nice clear soup.

  3. I have tried the pork tendon balls but I didn't like it because they were quite hard and did not taste like much. I see that you love mustard!

Hmm I never liked Ikea's hot dog. Gimme any other item on the menu any time.

    1. The tomato versions are all dry options, right? no soupy ones.

    2. The 'soup' is a slightly-chunkier version of Campbell so result is in between soup and dry. Like gravy.

    3. Oh, like gravy, that's why the staff told me is dry type, not soupy ones.

  6. Big meatballs. Sausage in the bun is simple but satisfying, right?
