  2. They have an outlet here. I've bought stuff from their stall, very nice but I have never gone in to eat.

    1. Youtiao from the wet market is lower in price so if I go wet market often, I would choose wet market than here.

  3. Oh, this franchise cafe is still ongoing? My friend opened one in Ipoh few years ago and closed it half a year after.. sad case.

    1. Yes, really sad. I guess there are too many eateries in Ipoh with good local food so it is hard to compete with the local food.

  4. I have never dipped you tiao in soya bean or eaten with porridge. I like it plain. But I have had it dipped in BKT soup.

  5. I didn't knowreally they have herbal chicken soup. But long time we didn't go to the outlet. Usually we go for its yue tiaw and soy bean.

I don't dip my yue tiaw, I just eat as it is. Only in bak kut teh, I would throw it in to be soaked in the broth.

    1. Here, we also throw the you tiao in soya milk or in congee to be soaked thoroughly to be eaten. I don't think this is a soup, just steamed chicken thigh which resulted in a lot of gravy that can be drank like soup.

    1. You prefer eating the leg with rice instead of congee?

    2. Definitely. If it's to be chicken with congee then should be the braised soy sauce type.
