Not Baking Bread

Since I don't bake my own bread at home like Claire does, sometimes I buy a loaf of bread from The Baker's Son at Jaya Grocer.

This Beetroot, Cranberry, Walnut Bread costs MYR 9.90 nett.

  1. We don't bake bread either. Sometimes we may buy but not often - not really into bread. A loaf of sandwich bread here is around RM3.00 these days - we would just buy one of those plain ones when we feel like having bread.

    1. But nowadays you can only buy gluten-free bread which is not so commonly found even here.

  2. I have been browsing the breads at this bakery but I have yet to take one home. Perhaps I will next week hee..hee... It's very time consuming to bake bread which is why I am dragging my feet even though I have a packet of bread flour at my disposal.

    1. If you like to eat bread every day then having a bread maker is worth it else it is not.

  6. I was there recently trying to decide which to bring home. :) Settled on the raisin one which I enjoyed sliced, toasted and spread with margarine. I had the green tea one before which I didn't like much.
