WG Purple Cane

Vegetable Noodle Soup - MYR 13.90++ (10% service charge and 6% GST = MYR 16.20 nett).

This is not a small pot of tea but soup - Arrow root soup at MYR 7.90++ (MYR 9.20 nett).

Size comparison. Both items are ordered by my friend.

This is my order - Fried Lei Cha Rice - MYR 13.90++ (MYR 16.20 nett). I kept half of it for dinner. It was quite tasty with pine nuts. I could not taste anything in it that resembles Lei Cha which I have eaten before but my friend who ate some said she detected Basil taste in it.

4 prawns are hidden in the fried rice.

Interior

Purple Cane Tea Restaurant at the Gardens Mall.

Total Bill for 2 pax is MYR 41.65 nett.

  4. Lei cha rice?? That is a different variant of a conventional lei cha.

That an unique way oc using tea pot to keep soup.

  5. That's a cute teapot. I'd rather have the whole bowl of soup though hehe.

I found the food at Purple Cane to be not so tasty... probably too healthy for me.

    1. think you are right because they don't use msg and it is not salty or very spicy.

  6. Fried lei cha rice sounds interesting. Can't go wrong with prawns. So it's not vegetarian then, this place?

  8. Fried lei cha rice is something new to me. I usually eat lei cha rice as it is very clean. Cant imagine having the fried version of it. Sounds interesting though.
