Once a while

It has been about 2 years that we ate the roast duck at Soon Fatt Beijing Roast Duck, Kuchai Lama. This time we ordered half a roast duck (MYR 35 nett) but took most of it back home and it lasted us for many meals.

 Hokkien Mee for 1 pax - MYR 9.90 + 6% GST = MYR 10.50 nett. This time it tasted nicer because the gravy is on the thicker side unlike the previous time we ate this dish. The deep fried lard was wasted on us because we only ate some of them. We also shared a glass of hot tea at MYR 0.85 nett.

The bill for the noodles and tea: MYR 11.35 nett

  2. Oooo...I love roast duck! They do not do it very well here, not quite the same and VERY tough! Char siew's not quite there too. Siew yoke and roast chicken are ok.

  5. I would love roasted duck when the skin is crispy hard. Yums!
    The fried lard is a welcome snack for me.

    1. peipa duck for you then! very crispy fried lard wouldn't have much oil left so should not be so unhealthy then.
