Once a while

Serai again after more than one year and we noticed that the nasi ambang we ate previously at MYR20++ now costs MYR24++ (price increased by 20% in a year).

Nasi Kerabu - MYR23++ (MYR26.80 nett) consisting of ayam percik, salted egg, ulam, solok lada, keropok ikan and budu sauce. Very flavourful.

Fish and Chips - MYR28++ (MYR32.65 nett) - all I can tell is that it is not dory fish. The menu says that it is butterfish.

Tropical Fiesta - MYR13++ (MYR15.15 nett) - ice blended fresh mangoes and pineapples. A refreshing drink.

Total Bill MYR83.70 nett

  2. I would like that nasi kerabu so so much, I'm sure - no, thanks to the fish and chips even though butter fish is nice, not like dory. Hmmmm...the name of the place brings somebody to mind.

  3. That nasi kerabu has all the traditional accompaniments. The ulam isn't green so at at first I thought it was served separately.

  4. This is sad that all the prices are rising fast with inflation while my salary is not. My boss needs a spanking. LOL

I love to eat everything at Serai including their cakes and desserts. They know how to cook and bake every well.

  5. The nasi ulam makes me hungry. Within this year alone, the prices of food and things have escalated.
