Sweet Bean

At about 5.30pm, we were looking for a place to have dinner around this area and none of our usual eateries were ready to serve dinner yet so we ended up at this dessert place.

I chose to have dessert for dinner since this is a dessert place. A combination of peanut paste sweet dessert soup and sesame glutinous rice balls in ginger sweet dessert soup - MYR4.80 - good for sharing.

My spouse decided to have this stew beef noodle - MYR12.90 - quite decent I would say although it does not look good.

My spouse also ordered this water chestnut sweet dessert soup (hot) - MYR6 - there are barley, mung beans and lotus seeds in it too. We finished eating the ingredients in it but did not finish drinking the sweet soup.

Interior

Shop front - same row with Ipoh Chicken Rice in Sri Petaling and their service charge is 10% with no govt. tax.

  8. I have been to Sweet Bean few years ago...Surprised to see that the place hasn't changed much & still looking new (just like it was first launched). The tong sui there not bad, the level of sweetness still can pass my tastebud (not sure about now).

    2. normally those tong sui that were sold elsewhere tends to be too sweet for me. For this outlet, it is sweet enough (at borderline before classified as too sweet).
