Tough Thick Coconut

On Tuesday 14.july.2026, we took a quick breakfast at a nearby eatery before going to foc job for a 9.30 am appointment. After that, went to eat brunch at Nam Heong pinnacle condo Sri Petaling and bought groceries from the supermarket there.

Once back 🏠 he wanted to drink the coconut 🥥 juice from the coconut he bought from the supermarket and discovered that the husk of this particular coconut 🥥 is too thick so the manufacturer of the device that was fixed on the coconut didn't even get near the coconut 🥥 shell to puncture the coconut shell aka tempurung to get to the coconut 🥥 juice aka coconut 🥥 water inside. There is no way that the both of us could wack the coconut 🥥 with a knife 🔪 to get to the coconut 🥥 juice so he sighed and said, just write off this coconut 🥥 that costs between MYR 8 to MYR 9 but I thought of an idea 💡 to salvage the situation.

We implemented my idea 💡 and got to drink the coconut 🥥 juice from this tough coconut 🥥. Also got to eat durians too 😋 

My idea 💡:

Both of us walk to the nearby fruit shed and buy one coconut and durian from this fruit shed and then seek their help to cut open our coconut 🥥 for us.

Result:

The fruit shed people are kind so they did cut open our coconut 🥥 for us 👍🏻 😊 so we didn't need to throw an unopened coconut 🥥 away.

8.12 am - we shared our usual pork misua soup add two eggs and one hot cham drink.

8.23 am - my portion

9.30 am but they only arrived at 9.48 am and the job was completed at 10.12 am. 24 minutes cleared 10 photos worth of items MYR 300 nett.

3 tonne 🚛 1 driver 1 boss 2 workers

A house with many built-in cabinets with 30 years of things. Previously this 🚛 was here at MYR 450 nett. Need two times of clearing the items for reuse, recycling and disposal.

11.04 am - he ordered the grandpa set of drink and toasts. Soft boiled eggs ala carte.

11.10 am - lo Mai Kai and upgraded drink set for me.

10.54 am - this breakfast menu seems to me to be new and we ordered our food from this menu.

*** Pinnacle condo supermarket ***

11.37 am - this new sourdough bread is tasty 😋 according to him as he ate it toasted with olive oil spread because it has orange peel so he could taste it as if he is eating marmalade.

*** Thick husk Coconut ***

This photo is from online Coco Fairy website. He bought this Coco Fairy coconut MYR 8 to MYR 9 from pinnacle condo supermarket but the Coconut 🥥 husk is too thick and the plastic device on top didn't get to puncture the coconut 🥥 shell in order for us to get to drink the coconut 🥥 water aka coconut 🥥 juice.

12.52 noon - black thorn durian has deep yellow orange colour

12.51 noon - two durians

Musang king on top MYR 36 nett 

Black thorn MYR 28 nett

Black thorn durian 3 seeds only he ate 1 

Musang king durian 9 seeds he ate 2

I ate all to ensure none remaining 😂 😋 

*** Sweet potatoes ***

1.58 pm - we walked 🏠 and he steamed the 3 packs of sweet potato 🍠 MYR 12 ish. We kept two third in the freezer and one third in the fridge for daily consumption.
