Carbs n Sugar

On Tuesday 18.feb.2025, he wants to try out two eateries that he saw online so we went there for brunch and snacks at jalan Sepadu.

*** Tai Kar Ho jln Sepadu ***

11.10 am - his pork trotters noodles MYR 13 nett. Hot cham MYR 2.60 nett. I ordered leeks sui gao which defaulted to 3 sui gao in a bowl of anchovies soup MYR 5 nett. The sui Gao skin is soft and thick, doughy which I like so after eating this sui gao I ordered their hand torn pan mee for the thick soft doughy pan mee which I believe to be the same as the sui gao dumplings skins.

11.10 am - close up of the pork trotters noodles. I ate same noodles and felt that the sauce has a tinge of coca cola or sarsi or pepsi taste which he cannot detect.

11.31 am - hand torn pan mee soup MYR 8.50 nett.

11.43 am - the hand torn doughy noodles which is thick and soft. If softer then I will like it more.

12.04 noon - Tai Kar Ho eatery jln Sepadu shopfront.

*** Wang Tong Shui Station jln Sepadu ***

12.06 noon - after that, we crossed the road to this tong sui eatery.

12.11 noon - papaya white fungus hot tong sui and black glutinous rice mixed with Muk jok aka oats tong sui. Sweet. He ate a bit and I ate the larger portion to finish them.

12.14 noon - I also ordered Wu tao ko aka steamed yam cakes. Very nice with real yam cubes.

*** Pink Sea Salt Vanilla Sofuto ***

12.49 noon - on the way back, stopped by family mart to buy a loaf of green gardenia loaf bread MYR 4 nett and saw this new taste sofuto so bought one cone MYR 3.90 nett to try. Salty and creamy sweet. Enjoyable. 😋
