On Wednesday 4.dec.2024, went to midvalley mall to check out 2 new eateries and 1 new relocated food court.

Midvalley Mall website says that A Winter's Tale is happening from 21.nov.2024 to 1.jan.2025 at the mall.

2.54 pm - hanging decor at the Gardens mall.

2.49 pm - white Xmas Decor at centre court Midvalley mall

2.53 pm - the gardens mall is also having a white xmas

12.17 noon - gigantic umbrellas 🏖️ ☔

*** MyIpoh Midvalley Mall ***

He read about this new eatery MyIpoh at Midvalley Mall so he ordered all the food

10.41 am - nasi lemak curry chicken and hot Ipoh white coffee 

Double kaya butter toasts 

10.54 am - MyIpoh is located next to nasi kandar eatery facing external inner roads

*** New shop ***

10.38 am - Lacoste shop is now at the Gardens mall.

*** Pop corn food court relocation ***

Pop corn food court has relocate from its previous location to replace the food court at the highest floor of Midvalley Mall, next to Daiso.

11.43 am - he ordered assam laksa MYR 9.90 nett and chendol MYR 4.90 nett from Stall 1 Penang Food Village by Yong Kee

12 noon - the new pop corn food court next to Daiso

12.02 noon - non- halal Pop Corn food hall

He went for a large cup of hot black coffee MYR 5.9 nett from family mart because the automated ordering machine doesn't allow the selection of small cup. 

Then the coffee ☕ is too hot so went to sit down at aeon food court to wait for the coffee to cool down and so bought a pack of 3 sesame croissants MYR 3.90 nett.

After that I wanted to go eat lunch at Peng Chu Hunan Cuisine because they are still having 10% off all main dishes.

*** Zao Dou Gao cake shop kuchai Lama ***

He told me about this new cake shop in Kuchai Lama named zao dou gao aka 枣豆糕 where 枣 means dates aka jujubes so he stopped there on the way to Midvalley Mall and I got down from the car to buy one each of the cakes but as they just opened their shop at 9.30 am, there were only two types of cakes available and one cake in the oven, needed to wait 6 mins but we couldn't wait so I just bought the two types of cakes available and one sealed pack of hap tao sao biscuits:

1. 3x2 chicken floss cakes

- the chicken floss is mixed into the cake batter so the cake texture is unique

2. 1x2 glutinous rice cake 

- a bit too oily 

3. 1pack of 5 hap tao sao x5x2

- crunchy

10.03 am - a tiny shop: zao dou gao cake shop aka 枣豆糕 

6.39 pm - 2 remaining chicken floss cakes and one pack of hap tao sao biscuits 

6.43 pm - the hap tao sao biscuit is crunchy and big

6.40 pm - aeon 3in1 pack croissants MYR 3.90 nett. We shared one, crispy flaky crunchy, acceptable.
