Monday 29.nov.21 is kid 1's day but fav kid living in overseas used kl app to order food prawn noodles for the Elderlies' breakfast. Update: the neighbour gave the prawn noodles but fav kid does order food delivery from overseas using those apps that support this function. We just ordered our own food.
11.33 am - he ordered these dishes from Lan Chey eatery in Taman Tan Yew Lai using shopeefood. The dishes are acceptable but I didn't expect the steamed chicken dish to have so much gravy.*** Lai Foong Lala Noodles eatery at Jalan Sultan ***
I did not know that there is a new Lai Foong Lala Noodles eatery located near Central Market that opened for business around Aug 2020 until I ordered delivery from them. Then I read an online article about them:
The address is:
99, Jalan Sultan, City Centre, 50000 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur
The url to order online:
Tue 30.nov.21 6.52 am - very early breakfast of prawn mihun bought the previous day. Yummylicious again! 😋😋😋
11.11 am - the price is reasonable for two big prawns. Prawn mihun MYR 20 nett and prawn sang mien MYR 22 nett.
*** Dinner ***
Wow so the 1st kid ordered from overseas for the food delivery? Is it doable? Ok that's new.
ReplyDeleteFav kid is in overseas and could use kl app on her hp to order food to be sent to the elderlies on the same day.
DeleteTalking about the convenience of using technology. Awesome.
DeleteYup
DeleteI like the sang mein noodle. I miss curry puffs, vadai and fried kuih bakul.
ReplyDeleteOh u prefer sang mein to meehoon. Can eat them almost everyday.
Deletekid 1 can take care of the elderlies food even from abroad...the power of technology! i like the sang har mein!
ReplyDeleteKid 1 is local, fav kid is overseas but still could send food. Yup, the power of technology and I think you know all about it since u r in the it indystry. The sang har mein is worth the price so if u happen to go downtown, can try eating there.
Deletegosh...i mixed up kid 1 and fav kid...haha....Yea, i like that technology can bridge us together even in ordering food delivery! this is something unachievable over a decade ago (possible, although would be costly to achieve without a proper platform).
DeleteThanks to the internet. 👍
DeleteI heard of someone overseas who helped his parents order groceries online because the old folks don't know how to do it. Technology is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYes it is.
DeleteAlthough far away, at least the fav kid shows his filial piety to his parents. Technology nowadays make everything convenient and reachable.
ReplyDeleteYup, all children also are very filial piety.
DeleteOrdering from overseas just more cumbersome with the time difference and all. Still have to ask the elderlies for what they want to eat and at the right timing haha.
ReplyDeleteSome apps can pre order. Just need to set the time want to receive the delivery.
DeleteFav kid is so deligently taking care of parents from abroad. Impressive. Miss vadai, never had it for so long.
ReplyDeleteYup, fav kid cannot bear to think of world without them. I also miss vadai. Let me go see how to order online all sorts of vadai delivery.
