WG Careful of Bones

My lunch set at Yuzu, The Gardens Mall: Salmon Nabe Set at MYR 30.30 nett. There are two portion of fruits on my tray because my friend gave me hers.

There are 4 big pieces of salmon with lots of napa cabbage, bean curd and mushrooms in the pot. I kept half for dinner without the broth. My only complaint is that the salmon pieces have many bones in them so I had to be very careful when eating them.

Total bill for 2 pax: MYR 54.80 nett.

  2. Oh? Salmon has bones? I thought they only have one big one on the middle but I wouldn't know as I usually buy the small filleted slabs.

  3. I never had salmon in soup before. Must be good. It does looked appetizing but yes, having bones in fish is not that fun. Need effort to eat

  4. Healthy meal also. Must be a part of the fish that is bony since not all parts are like that.

    1. bony parts are ok because those are big bones. these are thin bones in the meaty parts.

  5. I think they gave you the middle part of the salmon that has more bones. That meat is sweeter for broths with bones.
I like their carrots being cut into shapes of sakura flowers.

  7. I wish that the kitchen had removed the bones. I have seen how it is done on TV. I dislike having to eat fish with many bones. So annoying.
