Five Spices Seafood Pot

I read about this dish at Souper Tang so I ordered it to share with my friend. I find fish maw, sea cucumber, mushrooms, bean curd puffs, fish fillets, broccoli, meat balls, white fungus and many pieces of tendons in it. We also had a bowl of brown rice each at about MYR2.50 for a bowl.

Does the meatball in the bean curd puff resemble another food to you?

The deep fried dory fillet is salty and there are about 3 to 4 pieces of it in the pot. In summary, I find this seafood pot too flavourful for me.

We were served a small plate of pickled guava slices as appetisers (about MYR5) and we ordered a glass of hot yuzu drink to go with our food.

Total bill for two is about MYR76 after adding in the 10% service charge and 6% GST. Please click on the photo above to view a larger version.

  10. Many premium ingredients in it making it very flavorful. They could use less salt maybe.

    1. Yes, I guess the gravy was perfect for you since you like very flavourful food. :) The guava slices are not foc but then you are putting it on the company's tab so it does not matter to you.
