Cool down

In this hot, hot weather, lunch on some days is just plain congee with half a salted hard boiled egg instead of eating spicy or deep fried food.

The meal above was bought from a neighbourhood mix rice (chap fan) coffee shop. The bowl of congee was MYR1.20 and the half salted egg was MYR0.80 making a total of MYR2 spent on lunch.

  9. Now unless that porridge has been left to cool, how can it help to cool you down? The last thing I will order in hot weather is porridge...

  14. Did you boil this porridge yourself? Or buy it outside? If you bought, how much will it cost to eat like this?
