TeoChew Chendol at One Utama

TeoChew Chendol finally opened a branch in One Utama so we ate there.

Curry mee MYR9.50 nett. Ice Kacang and Chendol - MYR6.30 nett each. Requested for less sugar.

'
Teo Chew Kuang Jiang - MYR7.40 nett. At another branch, we saw a couple eating some fried food and we thought they were Kuang Jiang so we ordered them but they were not what we saw the other day. Kuang Jiang turned out to be fried radish cake.

Closed up on Kuang Jiang - fried radish cake with peanuts embedded, Quite tasty although a bit oily.

Total Bill - MYR29.50

There are two seating areas for us to choose. One on the right of the counter and one on the left.

So many people but we think the food at this branch is not as tasty as the other branches.

  5. One opened up nearer to where I stay too but I've not eaten there yet. Is there a difference between Teochew cendol and the normal cendol?

    1. This Teochew cendol has more santan and has kidney beans. Where is the outlet near your place?

    2. The cendol from Indian stalls I had also contains kidney beans, so there's really no difference lah...if made by Teochew, then Teochew cendol....hehe! :D The outlet nearer to my place would be Cheras Leisure Mall.

    3. The ones I ate at Indian stalls don't have kidney beans, not even red beans. Just green cendol and santan and gula Malacca. Wow seems like they plan to go every mall.

  9. So they have finally opened and you are fast.
I must go and eat their famous Assam Laksa which is supposed to be the same as the Penang Road's stall which is located beside their Chendol Stall.
