Most expensive?

After eating lunch during working days, some of my co workers will walk to this coffee place for coffee and they introduce me to this butter cookie which they say is the most delicious butter cookie ever. To me it is the most expensive butter cookie ever. Care to guess its price (for one)? No prize for the right guess.

Updated (14 Sept 2014): I just found out that Jason's Food Hall at Bangsar Shopping Center is selling a chocolate walnut cookie that is not bigger than this cookie at around MYR5.59 so this cookie is not the most expensive cookie afterall.

Cranberry and white chocolate butter cookie - 7 to 7.5 cm in diameter - very, very buttery, rich and crisp. If you put this cookie on a piece of parchment paper, you will see a big oil stain - that is how buttery it is.

Thickness - about 0.4 cm is my guess. Being curious, I bought one despite feeling that it is very expensive and ate a bit before giving the rest to my family to test this super butter cookie.

If you are interested, this is the coffee place located at Phileo Damansara 1. Please select the space after this MYR4 for the price of one cookie to see whether you got it right. Have a good weekend!

I dun really like too butterfish stuffs...very 'jelak' to eat...perhaps nibble a tiny bit would be good. Other than cranberries with white choc, is there any other flavour?

  6. must be very rich, pressing lots of ingredients and goodness into that little piece of cookie, that's why they are selling it more expensive.. hmmm, RM4 is not expensive actually, i would have thought they are selling it at RM9.90 a piece.. that size and from such a cafe in such a premium area, RM4 is considered standard i guess.. i don't mind getting a piece to try also..

but maybe Phong Hong can bake something similar but nicer and at a much cheaper price~~ :)

    1. I am not a die hard fan so although it is full of butter goodness, I won't buy it again. Yes, it is oily due to the butter but aren't all buttery food oily?

  12. I want to laugh! It was like eating a gold wafer! I am one who would spend a lot on a cookie that's heavenly. If I bake them, I may not be able to finish them all as I would probably want to munch just one cookie. I love to window shop at Jason's where their things are quite different.
