2nd Time Wiser

My lunch gang decided to go to the "bad pasta" place again because they actually like eating the pasta there so I ordered the chicken noodles in clear soup this time.

Tiny cubes of chicken meat in clear soup with cabbage and a mix of mee hoon and kway teow noodle - MYR6.90 plus 5% service charge (MYR7.25 in total). Well this is better than the pasta I ate previously because the mee hoon is very soft and the soup is not oily at all.

    4. Anything in soup needs to have pork blood to be called "nice"... that's how most Penang lang rolls..

    1. I wonder if there's any chance when your gang wanted to go somewhere you do not ever want to go, you opt to ditch them and eat alone elsewhere??

  5. ah, koay teow beehoon soup, yes, that would be comforting for me, especially on a raining afternoon.. but I don't quite like the idea of chicken cubes and cabbage.. it would "taste" better if they use shredded chicken and choy sum to me, though the same thing, haha :D
