Cny day 10 Mung Beans
On Thursday 26.feb.2026, went to Kedai Makan Makan again since it was closed the previous day when we were there.
8.21 am - he ordered soft boiled eggs, mi Siam fried chicken whole leg and hot white coffee less sweet.
8.27 am - I ordered kaya butter toasts and tumeric chicken nasi lemak with a request for the sambal to be omitted.
8.28 am - close up of the tumeric chicken nasi lemak 😋
12.51 noon - we shared and finished all the papayas I peeled and cut the previous day.
3.33 pm - he wanted to eat mung bean tong sui hot so we walked to the nearby dessert shop and ordered one curry puff, one kap chung, one red bean ham chim peang, one small bowl of hot red bean tong sui and one big bowl of mung bean tong sui. Total MYR 13.80 nett.

DeleteWas thinking the turmeric chicken looks familiar... then oh ya it's the 'nasi ayam kunyit' often sold at mobile vans. Had these regularly while working from the office previously.
