On Friday 17.oct.2025, when I woke up, he told me that one of the hinge of his plastic spectacles has broken so we need to go to Midvalley mall to buy a new prescription spectacles that will be ready in one hour.
*** He cooks asparagus ***
8.36 am - my portion of skinny asparagus, baked beans and eggs. He cooked the eggs with roasted dark sesame and coriander so the taste is quite special 😋
7.58 am - early morning he cooked the above because we bought the skinny asparagus MYR 7.99 nett from the food merchant supermarket on Wednesday 15.oct.2025 so better to cook them as soon as he could.
The skinny asparagus is crunchy and tasty 😋
*** New eatery in the Gardens Mall ***
11.16 am - on the way to the spectacles shop, I noticed a new eatery called Rich Kopitiam aka the green shop above which is next to Jaya grocer supermarket in the Gardens Mall.
11.16 am - this new eatery is located between jaya grocer supermarket and nadeje cake eatery.
After he has selected and paid for the new spectacles, we need to wait one hour before it is ready so we went to eat lunch at this new eatery.
12.16 noon - he ordered nasi lemak Ayam berempah aka deep fried chicken whole leg MYR 24.90+
The chicken is juicy and he likes the marinate taste. The sambal chili paste is quite spicy 🥵 so we didn't eat much of it. Just taste a bit of it to know that it is spicy 🥵
12.03 noon - his cold white coffee MYR 8.90+ and my cold coffee MYR 8.90+
I like the taste of my cold coffee better than his cold white coffee because the coffee taste is fuller
12.01 noon - I ordered butter kaya toasts MYR 6.90+ which is ok passable for me but he feels that butter is too strong for him
12.52 noon - total MYR 54.55 nett.
*** Deepavali Decorations ***
1.22 pm - saw this new decor in the gardens mall while he was placing an online order for a budget HP around 389 ish after collecting his new specs.

*** Battle of the Bakeries ***
1.37 pm - he told me that huckleberry bakery is in jaya grocer so we went to look for it and found this sign.
1.38 pm - next to huckleberry is baker's son bakery.
*** Cooling Jelly ***
1.45 pm - then we shared a hot tub of gwai Lin gou aka dark herbal jelly MYR 16 nett from koong woh tong.

I got my flu and Covid vaccines yesterday afternoon and my left arm is a bit sore.
Thankfully I had a good night 😴 🥱 sleep last night. I went to bed early. I stayed home and relaxed today.
