Minced Beef Cumin

On Friday 26.sep.2025, went to C plus cafe pinnacle condo for brunch with the guest. In the afternoon I ate yesterday's Mon Beef Roti.

*** Mon Beef Roti ***

I have eaten a few similar types of pastry with beef fillings originating from the same country:

1.38 pm - I ate it cold directly from the fridge and was surprised to find that the minced beef cumin onions fillings taste quite light. Not salty and no exotic spices taste. I couldn't even tell what cumin tastes like. The inner layers of this pastry  touching the beef fillings are doughy so I like it because I like to eat doughy pastry.

1.37 pm - mon beef roti MYR 6.50 nett

C Plus cafe has changed its menu. The toast, eggs, coffee set meal is no longer available. Need to order them individually. Main meals set with drinks are still available.

9.18 am - the guest chose Hainan toast taro & butter 7, hot signature c+ coffee no sugar 6.80 and one bowl of 2 soft boiled eggs 4.
One of the bowl of 2 soft boiled eggs 4 is for him.

9.21 am - he ordered turmeric chicken nasi lemak set with hot white coffee 22

9.22 am - I ordered cold coffee C no sugar and added coffee jelly 1, 2 fully cooked egg yolk fried eggs 2 x 1.5 and the morning plate 16 which has 1 sunny side up egg, 1 slice of toast, corns, lettuce, chicken ham and 2 chicken sausages. The chicken sausages taste better than the chicken ham. I requested for no mayo for the lettuce and corns.

Total MYR 69.60 nett. Our treat for the guest.

Morning 45.90
Next morning 46.10
Retained 200g water because ate too much carbs.

  1. Dear Mun, I love all your photos! The morning plate (description at the end of your post) sounds delicious, dear friend! Chicken sausages...hmm, I have had chicken hot dogs, but I don't think it is the same as sausages. The only sausages I have had are breakfast sausages, which is either pork or beef...or pork and beef, (I prefer pork), and then the larger sausages such as the Italian ones. I like the mild Italian. I have had French sausages called Toulouse. They are delicious! Herbs are in it, and it is mild, very tasty!
