The Nasi Lemak Shop is currently renovating their new branch in midvalley mall taking over the shop location previously occupied by Man Kee HK beef noodles on the highest floor.
Saw a new eatery called Ling Ling Long Long GastroBar next to Nanyang Cafe having the grand opening today.
He told me that he saw an online notice saying that hock Kee Kopitiam will open in the Gardens mall soon so we walked around the Gardens mall looking for the shop location under renovation but couldn't find it.

He wanted to eat lunch at Man Kee HK beef noodles but the escalator to go up to the highest floor is being renovated so while walking to take the stairs, we walked past Bankara Ramen and I suggested eating ramen instead so we went into the ramen eatery.
After eating ramen, we walked up the stairs to go to Man Kee HK beef noodles eatery because it has been a long time since we were there.
When we reached the location, we were shocked to see the shop was boarded up with the words the nasi lemak shop on the boards.
